Postural Balance

Massage can lengthen shortened muscles and awaken weak and inhibited muscles, eliminating tension on Bones. Not all of our muscles need to be -stretched, some are overstretched and some are too short.
Tug-a-wars occur in the body between antagonist (opposite moving)muscles, and this can shift bones into unbalanced postures. Knowing which muscles need length can help reduce pain and tension, and improve posture.
The Diaphragm (breathing muscle) is a large support muscle for the thoracic spine, and a strong “diaphragmatic core” keeps the shoulders naturally back and the spine beautifully erect.
